The beginning of summer turned out to be quite a busy time for me. I started a new job, and at almost exactly the same time, I moved into a bigger apartment. Needless to say, that took quite a bit of energy. 😅
The new job has been a big change: new students, new colleagues and a different (and honestly, better) way of working. It’s been great, but it has also meant that there hasn’t always been much energy left for working on my own projects.

The good news is that a few things have actually been getting done! I’ll share more about those in another post. Right now, I’m actually sitting on a train on my way to finish the final part of the projects… and, as it happens, I’m working on three projects at the same time. More on that later. 😉
The summer also started with the new apartment, where I finally have my own office/hobby room to work on my projects. That has been fantastic! Now I just need to get a more comfortable desk chair, because the gaming chair I currently have really isn’t made for those long creative sessions. 😂

During my vacation, I managed to work a little on the Elvis figure and the three other projects as well. But mostly, I tried to relax and enjoy the summer… while also somehow navigating the renovation of the bathroom. 😅
I did manage to make a little trip to Orrefors, though, where I got to try glassblowing and make my very own glass. So now I can finally enjoy my whisky in style. 🥃🔥

Things are starting to calm down now, and I’m feeling like this could be a much more creative autumn. I’ll probably take part in Inktober again this year, although I’m still a little hesitant after last year’s rather disappointing promotion of AI-generated art by the organizers.
Anyway, I’m currently on the train to Ystad and I’m almost there. 🚆
I’m going to try to get a new post out tomorrow with my latest projects.

Thanks for sticking around, and hopefully there’ll be a lot more to show soon! ❤️
