Right now, my 3D work has been put on hold.
Not because I’ve run out of ideas — quite the opposite. I’m currently spending my time drawing every single day for Inktober.
As always, I’m following the official Inktober prompt list, creating a new drawing based on each day’s word. But this year I’ve added two extra rules to the challenge.
The first one is pretty obvious:
Gnoit has to be in every single drawing.
The second one… well, that’s a secret.
Or at least as secret as it can be when you can look through the drawings and start connecting the dots. 👀
I’ve been having a lot of fun finding different ways to combine the daily prompt with these two recurring elements. Some connections are more obvious than others, and some might only make sense once you’ve seen a few of the drawings.

For now, my 3D projects are taking a little break while I focus on getting through the challenge one drawing at a time. There will be plenty of time to get back to the printer, sculpting and 3D modelling afterwards.
Follow along
Since Inktober is all about the daily process, I’m posting the drawings as I make them. If you want to follow the challenge and see what I come up with each day, you can find the latest drawings here:

And if you’ve been following the drawings for a while, you might already have figured out what that second secret theme is…
Or maybe you haven’t. 😉
Either way, there are still plenty of drawings left to find out.
